Key recession indicator sends investors sharpest warning in 42 years

Yahoo Finance just released this report. The US has been in a Negative Yield Inversion since July 2022. A Negative Yield Inversion has preceded each of the last eight recessions. Jerome Powell, the Chair of the Federal Reserve, spoke on 2/7/2023 and stated “although inflation has been moderating in recent months, the process of getting inflation back down to 2 percent has a long way to go and is likely to be bumpy.” This is something I will be watching closely.
